Victorian Ultimate League
The Victorian Ultimate League (VUL) is the premier Ultimate competition in Victoria. Teams from across the state participate in regular game days that feature 3 games per team, with total wins and losses accumulated across all Game Days to crown champion teams. The league runs separate Open and Women’s divisions in summer months, with VUL-Mixed being played in winter each year.
VUL is played with the following modifications to regular Ultimate rules
- Six players on the field per team
- 75% scale fields (75m x 30m; 13.5m endzones)
- Time cap at 60 minutes
Please note the following player eligibility rules for Victorian Ultimate League events from 2020.
- Open teams: Teams are not permitted to have any players who participated in 2019 Australian Ultimate Championships (Division 1 only)
- Women’s teams: Teams may contain one player who participated in 2019 Australian Ultimate Championships (Division 1 only). Teams can apply for further exemptions.
