Divisions & Grades

This year’s event will feature extra divisions and grades to ensure teams are playing more competitive and enjoyable games. Placements within grades will depend on the number of teams in the division, and the school’s historical performance at previous UV HSSC events, SSV gala days and other inter-school competitions.

Boys division will not have any set gender ratio of players on the field

Mixed (HSSC Senior and HSSC Junior only) division will have a set ratio of at least 2 players of each gender on the field at all times

Girls division will have all girls teams only

The Mixed division at the High School events will require at least 4 teams entering to proceed as a stand-alone division. If the minimum is not met, schools will be notified and teams can either be reshuffled, or they can enter the Boys division.

Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place-getters in each division and grade, as well as medals for the Spirit of the Game winners.

School Sport Victoria championship pennants will be awarded to the highest ranked SSV school in each of these divisions
