Volunteer of the Month – November 2018
Congratulations Cameron Gibbs – you are Ultimate Victoria’s volunteer of the month!
Cameron takes the lead at Shepparton Ultimate. He’s an ultimate enthusiast and is known for always taking the time to support the growth of new players. Cameron runs weekly training and pick-up sessions in Shepparton. At these sessions, Cameron takes the time to teach newcomers the techniques required to throw and actively encourages the participation of new players in games.
Cameron dedicates a huge amount of time to the promotion of ultimate. Recently, Cameron took time out of work to help run school sessions and to promote ultimate at the local council-run bush market. Did you play at VMUC in 2018? Cameron led the Shepparton Ultimate team that hosted the event! UV can’t thank them enough for running a smooth and successful tournament.
