Volunteer of the Month – August 2016
Kelli Browne is the August 2016 UV Volunteer of the Month.
Kelli has been instrumental in the creation and implementation of the new VicFlick 10-15 year old’s Leadership Ultimate Program.
She has been a key resource in the development of the VicFlick coaching content that focuses on teaching leadership skills through modified games and stories. So far the leadership themes have included: Good communication, Positive body language, and Developing self-belief.
Kelli’s enthusiasm for this coaching position has been outstanding and diverse: Kelli has successfully pushed for sponsors to back the new program; she has posted articles in school newsletter’s; and she brings a car load of enthusiastic players each week.
Kelli coaches each Saturday’s at Ron Barassi Snr Park, Docklands, 11:30am-12:30pm and we encourage all 10-15 year old’s to get involved.
