Pride Cup 2025
On Tuesday the 4th Nov, 51 players enjoyed the day in the finally emerging sun, supporting the LGBTQIA+ community and having a marvellous time playing 3-on-3 mini. Nine teams of 4 players battled it out in a complete round robin of ultimate on 30x15m fields. 🌈
Proceeds from the event would be going to Proud2Play, just over $1,100!
Congratulations to ‘Team 3’ for taking out the tournament; Cheok Lee, Megan Brass, Julia Cabai & Per Henriksen.
‘Team 1’ took out second place; Danae Lewis-Shell, Abby Turner, Brad Reeves & Timocles Copland.
‘Team 6’ and ‘Team 9’ took out a joint third place and finished with a fun game where teams changed each point.
Best Dressed went to Johnny & Miao for their hand-decorated shirts!
A big thank you to AFDA and UV for their generosity in allowing more funds to be donated, and to Kelli Browne, Brad Reeves and Max Halden for their ongoing support of the event! Thank you to The Country Women’s Association of Victoria and our favourite Albert Park café – Jack the Geezer. Thanks for helping to make our Pride Cup tournament a great success; our prize winners loved your prizes!
See you all at the event in 2026! 🌈
