Notice of the 2019 UV AGM
Ultimate Victoria wishes to officially give notice of the 2019 Annual General Meeting which will take place at Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre Level 1 Boardroom, Aughtie Drive, Albert Park on Thursday October 10th 2019 at 6:30pm.
The following business will take place at the meeting:
1. Welcome
2. Acceptance of minutes from previous AGM
3. President’s Report
4. Treasurer’s Report
5. Election of committee members
a. President
b. Vice President
c. Secretary
d. Treasurer
e. General representatives
6. General business
a. Open discussion on the strategic direction of ultimate in Victoria and the Ultimate Victoria organisation.
Quorum requires at least 30 members be present in accordance with rule 33 of the association rules. Proxies are allowed under rule 31 of the association rules. If submitted electronically they must be received at least 24 hours in advance.
If you wish to nominate for a committee position, please read the following (from Rule 48 of the association rules)
An eligible member of the Association may—
(a) nominate himself or herself; or
(b) with the member’s consent, be nominated by another member.
A member who is nominated for a position and fails to be elected to that position may be nominated for any other position for which an election is yet to be held.
The Chairperson of the meeting must declare all positions on the Board vacant and hold elections for those positions in accordance with rules 48 to 51 of the current association rules.
