CALL FOR U18 AND U22 VICTORIAN STATE TEAM COACHES AND MANAGERS 2020
Ultimate Victoria is calling for coaches and managers for the Under 18 and Under 22 Victorian representative teams for 2020 who will be competing at the Australian Youth Ultimate Championships and Australian Under 22 Ultimate Championships respectively.
This year will see both the U18 and U22 national championships held in the same month and location. Official dates and location are yet to be announced however, it is expected that they will both be held in early July. Proposed dates for both events are:
U18s
Saturday 4th – Monday 6th July
U22s
Friday 3rd – Sunday 5th July
Please consider this time period and likelihood of travel within Australia if you are interested in applying for a coach or manager role.
In preparation for both campaigns, Ultimate Victoria is calling for applications for the following positions.
U18 Campaign
Men’s – Bandicoots
- Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Team Manager
Women’s – Blaze
- Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Team Manager

Note: The UV High School State Championships will be running on Wednesday 25th March at Ransford oval in Parkville, Melbourne. For interested individuals in the above roles, this event can be used as a promotional / recruitment tool prior to any U-18 selection events therefore attendance could be highly beneficial if possible.
U22 Campaign
Men’s – Leadbeater Possums
- Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Team Manager
Women’s – Weedy Seadragons
- Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Team Manager
Mixed (Metro) – Blue Devils
- Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Team Manager *
Mixed (Country) – Greater Bilbies
- Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Team Manager*
*One Team Manager for both mixed teams will be considered

Note: For individuals interested in applying for & coaching in the mixed division – eligibility for playing in the U22 Mixed teams will not be restricted to the players’ place of residence.
The U22 ‘Mixed Country’ team was first created in 2019 as a means to support those based in regional Victoria and to increase developmental opportunities for players in this program. The Blue Devils (Mixed Metro) team is considered the ‘A’ team in this division for U22 Nationals. Please contact the UV Development Officer for any clarifications if you are interested in coaching this team.

Using the template form provided below, complete a written application and submit to jack@ultimatevictoria.com.au. Refer to the relevant role description you are interested in for further information regarding written applications.

When submitting your written application please title the file as: Full Name – Division – Position
e.g John Smith – U22 Mens – Head Coach
Joint applications will be considered. If submitting a joint application, each individual must submit a separate written application.
