Spirit of the Game
UV HSSC games, like all Ultimate tournaments, are self-officiated. This means students themselves are responsible for following and upholding the rules. After each game, teams grade each other on their correct application of the rules, foul avoidance, fair mindedness, positive attitude, and communication. The team with the highest average spirit score across the day are awarded Spirit of the Game gold medals.
School Sport Victoria Awards
SSV Champions and SSV Runners-Up are awarded by School Sport Victoria, and go to the highest and second-highest ranked state schools within each division.
The SSV Spirit of Sport award goes to the state school team with the highest average spirit score in each division.
