2025 O-Week – Find your uni club
Did you discover ultimate at high school, and would love to play again? Many Victorian universities have thriving ultimate clubs that run casual games, enter leagues and tournaments, and train to compete at Uni Nationals. Read on to find out where your uni club will be during O-Week this year.
University of Melbourne
Look for Melbourne Uni Ultimate at the MU Sport Clubs Day
When: Monday February 24th, 11am to 3pm
Where: Parkville Campus Student Precinct
The club is also hosting welcome events for new and returning players:
- Pickup (casual) game on Friday February 28th, 4:00pm – 6:30pm on at Walker Oval, Parkville
- Welcome BBQ on Tuesday March 4th, 3:30pm-6:00pm at the Parkville campus

Monash University
Monash Ultimate will be at the Clayton campus Orientation Festival all week
12pm to 3pm, Monday February 24th to Thursday February 27th
The club is also running a free come-and-try session for new players on Friday March 28th from 4pm-6pm at Monash Sport Clayton.

Deakin University
Deakin Ultimate is based at the Burwood campus, but welcomes students from all campuses to join the club! They will be at the DUSA Market Day & Clubs Showcase during O-Week
When: Monday February 24th and Tuesday February 25th, 11am to 2pm
Where: Sports Hall (Building HB), Burwood Campus
They also have a free come-and-try session on Tuesday February 25th 3-5pm at Bennettswood Reserve on the Deakin Burwood campus, beside Burwood Hwy. Book here!

RMIT University
RMIT Ultimate (RUF) is available to students from all campuses, with their weekly casual games and training sessions taking place in Collingwood. You can find them at the following events
City O-Week Clubs Hub: February 24th to 28th, 11am to 3pm each day
Buildings 8, 10 and 12 along New Academic Street (indoor) and Bowen Street (outdoor)
RMIT Clubs Day, Bundoora campus: March 11th, 12-2pm
RMIT Clubs Festival, Brunswick campus: March 12th, 12-2pm

Swinburne University
Swinburne Ultimate play casual games each week near the Hawthorn campus, and travel away together to social tournaments. They also have great connections with other ultimate clubs if you’re keen to take the sport further.

Is your university not listed here? Some campuses have casual games going without a club. We are in regular contact with university sport associations without ultimate clubs, and they are keen to support students who want to start a team and play!
