2024 Player Census
Every few years, Ultimate Victoria conducts a Player Census to gather information on the diversity of our playing cohort. Read more to learn about it and take part.

There are two main reasons we conduct this census
Firstly, as part of funding and partnership agreements we have with various organisations and levels of government, we are often asked to submit data on the diversity of our playing cohort. Rather than leaving these fields blank, we would like to respect the diversity of our members by providing accurate data.
However we also respect your right to privacy, so we will never use competition registration processes to gather this data.
Instead we use this census, then extrapolate data captured from this census across our total membership and participation figures.
And secondly, we measure the diversity within our community against other sports, and wider population data available for geographic regions, to see whether we are as safe, welcoming and inclusive for everyone as we want to be.
We also measure changes from survey-to-survey. This allows us to identify the need for support, education and resources for our clubs and volunteers to welcome targeted populations, and see whether that assistance has been effective.
– This census is entirely optional.
– We respect people’s privacy and their decision not to fill out this form.
– All questions are optional.
There are seven questions in total, so it should take you around about 1 minute to complete.
To say thank you for taking part, we have a range of prizes to give away to respondents chosen at random – UV discs, UV hats, Rebel Sport vouchers, UberEats vouchers, and disc golf beginner sets.
Your entry in our prize draw will be captured in a separate form, and will not be connected to your census response. Entry is optional. Once we conduct the prize draw, all contact information collected for the prize draw will be deleted.
For everyone who is willing to fill out this form – thank you for participating.
Update 28/8/24 – the census is now closed. Thanks to all who took part!
Our Privacy Policy can be found on our website on the Policies page. In short, we only share quantitative data (statistics). We will never share individual responses or contact information unless we are legally obligated to.
