2023 State Representative Teams – Head Coaches announced; Applications for assistant coaches and selectors open
Ultimate Victoria is proud to announce our line-up of Head Coaches for 2023 State Representative Teams. We are also calling for applications for Assistant Coaches and Selectors for campaigns.
The following people have been appointed to Head Coach roles for 2023 campaigns

- Under 22 Womens team (Victoria Weedy Seadragons) Head Coach – Georgia Egan-Griffiths
- Under 22 Open team (Victoria Leadbeaters Possums) Co-Coaches – Rob Andrews & Cat Phillips
- Under 22 Mixed Metro team (Victoria Metro Blue Devils) Head Coach – Elise Bradley
- Under 22 Mixed Country & Tasmania team (Victoria Country & Tasmania Greater Bilbies) Head Coach – Kelvin Choo

Ultimate Victoria is calling for applications for Assistant Coach and Selector roles for Under 18 and Under 22 Victorian representative teams for 2023. The teams will be competing at the Australian Youth Ultimate Championships and Australian Under 22 Ultimate Championships next year.
Official dates and locations for both events are yet to be announced, however it is expected that they will both be held during the June/July school holiday break. Please consider this time period and likelihood of travel within Australia if you are interested in applying for a role. Travel and accommodation costs are covered by the campaign.
UV may choose to appoint Assistant Coaches who are involved in squad preparation but do not attend the AYUC or AU22UC events.
Selectors will ideally be in attendance at tournaments featuring Victorian teams in the January – April period, plus also be available for a selection event in April or May.
In preparation for all campaigns, Ultimate Victoria is calling for applications for the following positions.

The expected time commitment for Under 18 Head Coaches are weekly or fortnightly training sessions from April to June, plus attendance at the Australian Youth Ultimate Championships or a similar event in early July 2023.
The expected time commitment for Under 22 Head Coaches are 2-3 weekend-long training camps held in Melbourne between April and June, plus attendance at the Australian Under 22 Ultimate Championships (3 day event in July 2023).
Apply for a role
The application form can be considered an expression of interest, and only asks applicants to respond to essential selection criteria.
Initial applications will be presented to the UV State Representative Teams Subcommittee and campaign Head Coaches. Applicants may then be asked to present further information for consideration, such as a campaign plan. The final stage of the process will be an interview with UV staff.
